Sleepy is a family diary of a child's sleep and feedings. We store only what the service cannot work without, and we do not use your data for ads.

what we store

The child's name (as you entered it during setup) and diary entries: "fell asleep" and "woke up" marks with timestamps, feeding and weight entries. If you provided them — also birth date, gender, nicknames, notes and ratings on entries. Plus family settings: timezone and the evening summary hour. Technical links: the family Telegram chat id and the Yandex account id, so entries from Alice and Telegram land in one diary.

what we don't do

We do not record audio in the background: speech recognition for Alice happens on Alice's side. If you send the bot a voice message in Telegram, it is passed to Yandex SpeechKit for recognition — we keep only the recognised text and do not store the audio file itself. The bot does not read your family chat: it only sees messages addressed to it, commands and button taps. We do not sell data or show ads.

analytics

To understand how the service is used, we collect anonymised analytics: AppMetrica in the bot and Alice skill, and Yandex Metrica on this website. Analytics does not include children's names, sleep diary text or chat contents — only technical events like "sleep started" or "page opened".

where data lives

Records are kept in a protected database in Yandex Cloud data centres. Only the Sleepy service has access to them.

who sees the diary

Only members of your family chat: parents, the nanny and whoever you invited yourself. There are no public profiles or shared feeds.

how to delete your data

The /clear_history Name command in the bot deletes that child's sleep, feeding and weight history (with a confirmation). The /delete_my_data command permanently deletes all of your family's data: children, records and the Alice link. If anything doesn't work, message us at @AiSleepyBot — we'll help.

changes to this policy

If the policy changes, the updated version will appear on this page with a new date. We'll announce significant changes in the bot.
